Meeting Point
The meeting point is in Tromsø city center, at Kirkegata 2, in front of the Tourist Shop Tromsø.
Starting Time
During the main season, the tour starts at 18:00.
In the early and late parts of the season, the start time may be 19:00 or 20:00.
Please check your booking confirmation for the exact starting time.
Duration
The tour lasts between 5 to 9 hours, depending on how far we need to drive to find clear skies.
Clothing
We provide thermal suits to keep you warm during the trip.
However, we strongly recommend that you wear warm clothing underneath.
We also highly recommend purchasing heat pads for your hands and feet — these can be very helpful on cold and windy nights.
Weather Conditions
The weather around Tromsø is often cloudy throughout the year — this is nature, and it’s beyond our control.
Weather forecasts are not always accurate, either for better or worse.
Therefore, the only option is to try, and that’s why we often drive to areas outside Tromsø in search of better weather.
If you feel the weather forecast is too poor for your liking, it is your responsibility to cancel in time.
Cancellation Policy
• You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the tour starts.
• No refund will be given for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour.
Are Children Allowed?
Yes, children from 5 years old and up are welcome, as long as they can sit on a booster seat.
Is Food Provided?
We serve a hot blackcurrant drink and a traditional Norwegian cinnamon cake called “Lefse.”
Will there be toilets on the tour?
Great question! The tour can last anywhere from 5 to 9 hours, and whether there’s a toilet nearby really depends on where the Northern Lights take us.
If it’s a long drive, we’ll try to stop at a restroom along the way. But once we’re out chasing the lights in nature’s wild corners, toilets might be as rare as unicorns.
So… it’s a good idea to be prepared. And don’t worry — Mother Nature is very understanding when it comes to emergencies. Just think of it as the most scenic bathroom break of your life!

There is no guarantee of seeing the Northern Lights, but we will do our absolute best to give you a memorable and enjoyable experience.
Rescheduling
Due to changing weather and road conditions, we may need to reschedule or cancel your tour.
Please check your email and phone on the day of the tour and the day before.
⚠️ There will be no refund for no-shows or if you did not provide a valid phone number (with country code) and email address.
Drop-Off
Drop-off is only available at hotels in the city center and at the original meeting point.
